Garry McLinn, currently located in Boston, Massachusetts, is a sought after classical tenor.   He has performed with opera companies, orchestras, and churches, all over New England, and continues to be involved in exciting projects in the area.  Just this past year, he was a featured soloist with the Pilgrim Festival Chorus in Plymouth, MA, a member of the BYSO Opera Chorus for both their production of Verdi's Otello at the Sanders Theater and their Cinderella (an adaptation of the Rossini version) at symphony hall, and took part in the Boston premiere of a brand new comic opera, La Zombiata, for which he received critical acclaim.  Prior to his arrival in Boston, Garry sang with a wide array of companies across the country, including the Aspen Music Festival in Aspen, CO, the Janiec Opera Company in Brevard, NC, and Wolftrap Opera just outside of Washington DC.  At Wolftrap, Garry participated in the creation of the original cast recording of John Musto's Volpone, which can be found on iTunes and Amazon.

Garry is a versatile performer, comfortable in various styles including opera, early music, musical theater, jazz, and folk.  He brings a warm presence to liturgical proceedings, and is frequently asked to cantor for wedding and funeral services at St. Paul's Choir School in Harvard Square.  As a chorister, he brings professionalism and positivity to every ensemble he works with.
